The Milliard folding bed is constructed with a tubed metal frame. The double reinforcement makes it a more sturdy and durable product.
It is topped with a 4-inch memory foam mattress ( IFD 15 ) and a washable mattress cover. The metal frame is black in finish and gives a nice solid look.
It is double boxed and double bagged for extra protection and does not require any assembly. It can be used straight out of the box. All you need is to screw the wheel after unboxing that would hardly take 5 minutes.
The Milliard premium offers easy storage and mobility. When folded it is 12-inches and the two wheels come with locks to keep it stationary when folded. Its dimensions are 75″x31.5″ and the height from the floor is 16-inches. Its weight capacity is extraordinary 400 lbs.
The base of the frame is medium-firm with a mesh that is very similar to a trampoline-like look. The poly-deck mattress support has a limited bounce. It is spring-loaded for softness and comfortable sleep.

Inofia introduced folding beds in the early January of 2019. Since then they have sold many beds to happy customers. Inofia bed is a durable bed with a 5-year warranty.
It comprises a 5-inch memory foam mattress with easy to assemble. The bed can be used right away after unboxing. But it may take up to 72hrs for the mattress to fully regain its form.
The mattress has a 3.5-inches high-density base foam for providing support to the back. On top of the base foam, is 1.5-inches memory foam for better comfort.
Inofia folding bed with a mattress is an ideal product for good sleep. It conforms to body shape and releases pressure points. The mattress comes with a washable bamboo cover with a zipper.
It is easy to assemble without any additional tools and took us less than 5 minutes. Once it is folded, the wheels make mobility quite easy.
The tubular metal frame is durable and expects to last longer. The frame is coated with eco-friendly paint making it rustproof.

Based on our testing of Inofia in different sleeping positions, we have come up with the following findings:
Back Sleepers
Our team member who is a back sleeper found the Inofia Folding Cot to be comfortable. The foam mattress provided good support for the spine, and the raised headrest helped keep the head and neck in alignment.
Side Sleepers
Our side sleeper tester rated the Inofia as average. The foam mattress does not provide as much support for the hips and shoulders as some other options on our list.
Stomach Sleepers
Stomach sleepers should avoid the Inofia as the foam mattress does not provide enough support for the spine in this sleeping position.
LUCID Rollaway Guest Bed under $300
The Lucid rollaway guest bed is the best folding bed on Amazon. It is priced under $300 after adding the discounts and is available in three sizes Twin, Twin XL, and Cot size.
It is a CertiPUR-US certified rollaway guest mattress. The bed has good support and a medium-firm feel. The mattress is 4-inch in thickness. It is designed with a 3-inch base support foam and 1-inch memory foam.
The bed becomes extremely comfortable to sleep on when paired with a crossbar-free hammock-style suspension. The mattress has a breathable rayon cover from bamboo.
The metal frame is tubular and falls under the 10-year warranty. It is easy to assemble. The rollaway feature is provided by dual locking wheels to ensure safety.
The Lucid is easy to fold and can be stored very easily by rolling away. The dimensions of the twin are 73″x36″x12″. When folded, it is just 10.5-inch in thickness and 44-inch in height for easy storage.
I would like to provide some additional information about the bed that may be helpful to different types of sleepers, including:
- Back Sleepers: With its sturdy metal frame and foam or innerspring mattress provides adequate support. The foam cradles without creating any pressure points.
- Side Sleepers: The soft foam contours to their body’s curves and provides pressure relief for the shoulders and hips. It offers a comfortable and conforming surface.
- Stomach Sleepers: Stomach sleepers typically require a firmer mattress to prevent their midsection from sinking too deeply and causing strain on the back. While the foam mattress offers some level of support for stomach sleepers but our stomach sleeper reviewer felt the need for a firmer surface.
Foxemart Portable Bed for Adults
Foxemart is one of the most sturdy and compact folding beds we reviewed recently. It comes with smooth-rolling wheels so that one easily roll away into the storage compartment. For proper stability, it is equipped with lock casters.
It uses a premium 5-inch memory foam mattress with velcro so that mattress doesn’t move. It has a high-density supportive base foam to support your back throughout the night. The mattress cover has a zip for easy wash.
It comes with a sturdy metal frame that can easily accommodate a weight of 300lbs. So if you are looking for a guest portable bed for adults, Foxemart is what we recommend.
Once folded, it is only 12.8 inches thick, so it does not require much space when stored.
Here’s a breakdown of the experience for different sleeper types:
- Back Sleepers: In my review, the foam provided adequate support to promote proper spinal alignment. I had no trouble sleeping on it or in the morning after waking up.
- Side Sleepers: While the Foxemart Portable Bed may not offer the same level of contouring as a regular mattress, it still managed to provide reasonable comfort for our side sleeper reviewer.
- Stomach Sleepers: Stomach sleeper did not report any discomfort sleeping on it.
Giantex Rollaway Folding Bed with Mattress under $200
It is an affordable rollaway folding bed with some unique features. In our review, we really liked the practicality of the frame design. The bed frame has a spring for extra comfort and bounce. Additionally, it has round edges that can save you from getting hurt accidentally.
It comes with only a 4-inch of a memory foam mattress but with a price tag of under $200, we could not complain much. The mattress has a layer of high-density support base foam and a breathable cover.
The recommended weight capacity is 240 lbs so it may not be ideal for guests who are overweight. But if you are willing to spend around $300 then they have another option which can take up to 440 lbs of weight with a 5-inch foam mattress.
Linon Home Dcor Memory Foam Luxor Folding Bed
As a prelude to this review, let me tell you that this folding bed has been stuck with me the longest. I used it for more than a month and that too almost daily. It is one of the most robust and most comfortable models on our list at competitive prices.
Let us begin with the looks. Its minimalist design can be very subjective, but I like the minimal, clean look of the product. The beige colored mattress cover works well with most interiors, or at least won’t be too noticeable in most interiors.
I did use it for many days and the mattress was not very comfortable to sleep on day after day. But then I don’t recommend any of these beds as a replacement for a regular daily use bed.
The caster wheels and belts provided to hold the bed are not of very high quality.
The bed is easy to assemble and store so no problems at these points. It is compact and does not take much space.
I did not get a chance to cut open the mattress but feel wise it does not appear to be regular memory foam which has a base of polyurethane foam. It is quite firm but strangely comfortable to sleep on.
A 2 inch mattress topper can easily solve that problem although I don’t see that as a prerequisite for most sleepers.
Another area where I noticed cost cutting was slats. They are slightly on the thinner side and may appear flimsy. With a mattress on them, I was confident that I could sleep, toss and turn on the bed without any fear of breaking them.
Can I recommend it to heavy sleepers weighing beyond 200-220 lbs? not really so if you are well built and on heavier side or expect such guests, you should look else where.
The metal frame is solid, heavy and without any edges.
Smile Back Rollaway Bed with Mattress for Adults (Discontinued)
SMILE BACK is an excellent quality folding bed with a thick mattress. The product is easy to set up and assemble in no time thanks to its design. In less than 5 minutes, we were able to assemble the bed without any tools.
The base of the steel frame comprises metal pipe supports instead of wire mesh or a spring deck. The metal frame is of good quality and quite stable. It is strong and can hold up to 220-230 lbs adult.
The Smile Back folding bed is 5-inches in thickness with 3.5-inch base support foam and 1.5-inch memory foam. The bed is comfortable for a sleeper and provides good support to your back.
Its dimensions are equivalent to twin size (75″x38″x12″). The bed is easy to fold and becomes compact so that it can be stored easily. The wheels can be locked and the adjustable buckle keeps them folded.
When folded, it is 14-inch thick and 44-inch in height. A customer who is not satisfied with their product will be replaced or refunded if it is a defective product or some defects in the materials.
Overall we are happy to give it a higher star rating.
